HERE.

I'm an artist, but new to pixel art and "winging it" thus far.  My early entry appears over the name "Kiel Bryant".

MS Paint is different from pixel art and this should be in the general discussion board.

This forum is one of the places I've come to ask for help; one strand in a large net.  It may prove nonuseful, but an artist friend who's opinion I respect recommended I try it.

Bengoshia, exactly; I'm trying to edge the whole effort away from "MS Paint"-style throwaway art.

Well, theres no pixel art to critique, this is more of a challenge than anything, which challenges belong in the general discussion board.

Ha!  Very true, Kon.  I meant what "most" consider "MS Paint Art" -- not the superb renderings you virtuosos create.

Thanks for the instruction, Bengoshia.  I've posted a separate thread under "Employment > Unpaid".  I'll ask that this be moved to GD.

yup, general topic stuff.

and nope, not REALLY pixel-art, though there's nothing stopping it from being such if someone wanted to.
A mistake is a mistake.
The same mistake twice is a bad habit.
The same mistake three or more times is a motif.

Everything is relative.

When you want to have control over your colours and palettes and animate, MSPaint is THE SHITTER

:O But compared to  . .. ... ... ... ... something. Photoshop with sucky preferences turned on, I guess it's alright. Graphics gale kicks its ass though :)

... Not to mention ProMotion, which I won't.

If you curse more I will strike you. Maintain good manners when on the premises, or suffer.
