looking for a new beginning..

on: October 05, 2007, 07:33:02 am
currently looking for a full-time onsite position at a studio/company
I've learnt alot over the past few years about myself and where/how I stand, and am hoping to build friendly relationship with nice caring people with upbeat attitudes.

traveling is not my forte and would require help relocating/smooth transition.

This is your opportunity to hire a great pixel artist, guys. ;D
"Baboy" is Filipino for pig.

I loved your portfolio, I would love to talk to you about a bit of freelance while you are looking for your studio position.

thanks for your recommendation, rabidbaboy.  :y:
still seeking work, seems like there aren't too many opportunities out there.
I might be open for freelance if the project looks promising/interesting, but It's my priority to find a full-time job.

Long time to see, Alex!

You might want to try the job boards at indiegamer:
http://forums.indiegamer.com/index.php

I've always had much better success there than here.

Also, you might want to try contacting companies directly. If it's a mobile game company go check out midletreview or another similar site and search for companies through there. This also will yield better results than waiting for a response here.

I can't imagine what the trouble is unless you're "overqualified" or something...

or maybe there just isn't a big market for pixel full time anymore, but still...your portfolio has strong traditional sections.
A mistake is a mistake.
The same mistake twice is a bad habit.
The same mistake three or more times is a motif.

Hey Alex, I have more work than I can handle, at the moment, and still have a few requests coming in.  If you don't mind, I could pass your name along to some of the more solid offers...  Just let me know.
