John Romita Jr is one of the worst professional superhero artists in the biz. Only marginally better than Liefeld, a step below Jim Lee. And Jim Lee is bad

I like Jim Steranko's stuff a lot. There's a couple really great artists in The Best of Ray Bradbury: The Graphic Novel whose names escape me now. :/

I just took a look at some of the suggestions you guys threw out. From the whole 1 hour I was viewing his pieces, I think its safe to say that Milo Manara's style IS softcore porn. But that's just an hours worth of viewing. He could actually have some morally decent stuff too.( not that his stuff wasn't bad). Liberatore's stuff was pretty kool beans as well. His character is kinda' 80's robot wierd, though. Romita JR's stuff was ok, but it did seem sorta' generic.

@Helm: I guess it's because I'm not a professional comic artist, but after seeing some of Jim Lee's stuff, it didn't look so bad to me. Sure it still has that old tacky comic book feel, but it's still fits the style to me. Understandably, some of the main heroes tend to have the same facial expressions, but I'm no purist, and my opinion wouldn't really matter.

Quinto Hoover mostly small press stuff, Richard Kane Ferguson (dunno if he did any comics though)...Both of have done art for assorted CCGs for a fact...Humberto Ramos is another one of my faves but his stuff is very stylized...
