hmm, perhaps, but i think your heavy, "crude" strokes, manipulation of forms and intentional flattening of the picture plane is really knocking down the door of the 20th century. it takes more than subject matter to fit in with a movement
(which is not at all to say i don't love the piece, which i do - it's a nice, departure from the other stuff i've seen from you - almost an emancipation of the hand when compared with, say, your concept sketches).
