i have never had a problem with ajax before...
the problem is more likely to be related to the css syntax, which can sometimes be a little different, and occasionally javascript...

i'll have a look at the code

perhaps change the div id from "ajax_in_progress" to "ajaxinprogress" , as many browsers do not like underscores, hyphens or numbers in the id or class names.

mozilla firefox and internet explorer; neither load it for me.  it's not for lack of updates either, this computer and the program versions running on it are less than 3 weeks old
A mistake is a mistake.
The same mistake twice is a bad habit.
The same mistake three or more times is a motif.

Testing quick edit; IE6 and Windows XP.

It doesn't work in IE6. I get an "Error on page" message:

Line: 63
Char: 2
Error: 'getElementsByTagName(...).0' is null or not an object
Code: 0
URL: http://www.wayofthepixel.net/pixelation/index.php?topic=5005.0

It works flawless for me in FF, Opera and IE. FF and IE jump to the bottom of the page tho so you have to scroll back up, which is a bit fudge.
There are no ugly colours, only ugly combinations of colours.

It works perfectly for me on both FF and IE, and neither jump to the bottom of the page.
Uhm, weird.
So did any non mod/admin member manage to open the quick-edit so far?

I run Opera with cookies blocked by default and an exception set for wayofthepixel.net. The User Info box keeps switching between a guest and login, it's weird. When I first go to the forum index, it says guest, but when I move into a sub-forum, I'm logged in. When I click on the latest Gameboy Demake Challenge in the News Box, I'm logged in. The other three older News Box items show me as guest.
