Awesome colours, Ryu! I love the effect so far, sort of like a metallic liquid. I'm interested to see how this will look like finished up. Nice lines, Blick, have you and Frank been talking? The scarf hands remind me of some stuff he recently posted.

its actually not the first time.. if i remember correctly he posted a lineart of a bear on pixeljoint and the bear was actually 'newton the bear' i done a google search and it came up with a image that looked exactly like it..

Yeah, Naso, has quite the history of doing this kind of stuff, stretching from Pixelation, to GSAArchives.com, Pixel Academy, Pixeljoint(as you mentioned, tell me if you can believe this came before the teddy http://pixeljoint.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=353&PN=9), and finally ending up again on Pixelopolis. What has he posted here? More lineart(by the same person that got him banned), 2 colours of digimon lineart(all 3 never finished I might add and refs not mentioned unless pushed to), some sprites and an eye.

JIn nearly everything I make, you'll find Ndeal and Frank Jaeger inspired parts.

OMGFossil, nice coloring, although the details of the blue are hard to see with it all being the same hue (from the looks of it at least) and there's not enough contrast in the shadows. Personally, I'd try to break up that blue with trim and such. A couple highlights would help too.

oh, and some notworthless comments:

might want to move your fold cutoff on the one leg and the kneecap highlight on the other down; seems a little high for knees
and the cap doesn't appear to have a lightsource.
very solid though
