I think it looks OK, but the grey outlines are really hurting, unless your going to add some anti-aliasing (and it's in a good stage for it).  I think you might want another color in there too, because it looks really flat right now.  Some white would actually help a truck load...just apply some wherever you've got the current highlights, only a bit less.

This thing looks kinda familiar  :-\ but it's probably just me.

Keep on pixelling man!  :y:
Man cannot remake himself without suffering for he is both the marble and the sculptor.

Looks like I really sux at metal shading, I really would like help.
I rather know how to shade metal itself, I mean natural metal color, similar to the first post… but when it comes to colored metal like blue or yellow I can’t shade it well.

Here is another one whit bluer look, the shading looks really bad to me, help?

And Rydin I don’t know where you could see it, but the design is mine….maybe something similar?

Hey there. I made an edit for you. It's halfway done, but you'll get the idea. Basically i extracted your lineart and reworked from there. First filled it with a base color and gave the basic shapes some form and then added reflections and secondary light. I went over the lineart, since that takes up a lot of space in a small sprite. Don't get trapped inside the lines.

Thanks for the edit, I tried to do it myself, but yours looks over saturated at least I think so.
Here is mine what do you think?

I think it looks better, but I think it would look really much better without the outlines.
I though really like the visor :)

The inside of the shield thing on his arm should be alot darker so it gives it a sense of depth, and it may look nice if you gave your robots some random details or made them more shiny to make them look more like robots.
