Practising Portraits

on: September 04, 2007, 11:44:17 am

Hello! I was looking for some help on these...anatomy, technical flaws, anything...my bigger problem is the style, though. I think maybe I should develop them in a more complex way, instead of this low colour style...thoughts?

hmmm a they have a definite David Stoner feel about them. I would shade the face a bit more,a piece can be developed a lot more, even with lower colors, but, I think the style is fine.

I'm not going to pretend this is a small task either; certainly none of us here can claim to have accomplished it.  it's the realm of masters.  still, it's what we all have to try for.
