lots of books and computers and monitors... but what about a cat?  ;) Here we go...
A man touched down on the moon, a wall came down in Berlin, a world was connected by our own science and imagination. Yes we can!

And I found an old picture too. From 2006. I'll post that also.

Excuse the major bump here, I tidied up my room a bit today and later discovered my phones camera can merge photos to create a panoramic effect:

The quality isn't that great but the merging is pretty well done.
I don't have any special gadgets or anything of interest, so I think one pic can cover everything.

Oh nice! We recently had "post your desktop" kind of threads on a.cc and the GDR too and when I saw this, I thought "wow, what a coincidence" and then I noticed how old this thread actually is... hehe anyway, great opportunity to spam my two desks into yet another great forum and maybe a good opportunity for everyone else too, to repost in this thread with their current desks/playgrounds/biotopes.

My two desks are arranged in parallel (turnable chair sits between them) and I recently cleaned them up, so they're actually usable again after a long break of idling and not get anything done.

But now, pictures!, first my main desk, where I write all my code, play games, watch movies, pixel and whatnot and second, my second desk, which now that it isn't hidden under endless piles of clutter accumulated over the months anymore, I plan to use for reading and drawing, game designing and whatever else may come along.

You sure like your girls, Dennis :P

New apartment, by the way.  I'm back in San Mateo, CA again...

I built the desk myself.  It was pretty fun.  I tried to make entertaining perch setup for the bird so he wouldn't bother me on my shoulder while i work.

That perch will probably end up improving your skills since that bird obviously has some great advice to offer. :)

Aren't you worried that bird is going to get poop all over your keyboard?

San Mateo huh? You're about a 20 minute drive from where I am ( in good traffic ).

Takam: hah! Let's hope so!

Evileye:  are you south?  I'll be down there in palo alto area for the next three days for the tigjam.  We should meet up sometime.  Oh, and the bird is potty-trained...mostly.   He also laughs whenever somebody laughs and gives kisses on command.  Neat-o.

No, I'm just a bit east from Oakland, in Orinda.

Just looked up tigjam on the web. I could show up during the daytime thursday or friday.

Would your bird fly out if you opened the window?
