Hi. I am trying to improve this walk cycle, but I am uncertain of how to continue:
I would be very happy with any pointers or new ideas.

One of the main things to consider is that the entire body moves while walking.
Shoulders, head, body, nose, eyelids. Each body part should move each frame.

Animating a walk cycle in isometric view is much harder than in flat side (ortho) view. You should learn how to do the latter first.
Look for walk cycle references. Try googling "preston blair walk cycle" and "richard williams walk cycle".
