[(very)WIP] Lady pointing birds.

Thats what i have so far, the left is my attempt to make grass, the right is the fast grass that born2die made for me, to show how he would do it.
As you see it's not working out with my one and id like suggestions on what to do with it, this is something i realy want to finish.
Please also tell me if my anatomy/proportions are wrong, i learn the most from edits you make fast/detailed.

Some short crits:
The grass should overlap the rocks
The lady her arms are too short and her head is a tad small
The pose is a bit stiff and static

Thanks for that, I'll try to work on it, but still i dont have a grass tutorial . I"ve looked at some very good pixels on pixeljointmade by great artists, and it all looks simple, when i try it .. it looks.. just spots with dots .. not like grass   

Also, what do you think i could do to make her look less stiff .. 

(Also thanks for the reply to a topic like this, because not realy much people reply to noob art here .. at least thats what ive seen  , so thanks for that to)

Looks good but no shading on the rocks or the girl the rocks are just 2 colors. and this is just me but i think it would look "cool" if there were like vines and grass going down the rock a bit but then again I'm kinda crazy

Heavy update indeed, so what do you think ? Any suggestions ? im thinking about clouds ... and a ~large pink flower in the bottom right (yes in the black)

I hate to be rude, but I can tell you just took the easy way out. Your not going to learn if you don't keep trying something. Scrap this new version, and start from the beginning. And actually take people's advice, rather then quiting.

Im actualy rather new to pixeling (pixeling itself, because ive been around at pixel forums for more then a year now, so i pretty much know what i should know to start off) and i got adviced to start with easyer things, (born2die adviced me), so thats what i did, i will finish the first version after i finish the new version. But for now i could use help on the newer one. Thanks anyway

The best two things to start off with are grass and rocks. They are one of the usual elements used in tons of games.

Well i asked for a grass tutorial and well so far i havent found a decent one yet .. so thats why im not good at grass
