If you change the inside of his mouth from a flesh color to more of an inside the mouth color, add some teeth...you'll be on the right path.

Yeah, keep working on the mouth and he'll look great. One thing I noticed is that his right shoulder and arm are in the wrong position for him to be holding his fist like that, try to imagine his forearm and elbow, it would be a bit twisted here. Good work so far though!

Hand is too small. How about some darker shadows and add some higlights. Work out where your lightsource is coming from. His ears aren't the same size.

His left eye seems to be a little lazy, also try to make it so he is either under a light or above one for the shading, or from anywhere.  Lightsource really helps portraits.

fix the hand, ears, and eyes...--btw...i don`t know the meaning of `lazy eyes`...if you could explain..it would be helpful for me,claredeth...thx--
the colours is already too much..i don`t know about adding highlight or more shadow...
the lightsource is from top...but maybe someone could help me about the shading,if something seems to be wrong...

thx^^

when you draw - flip the image horizontally occasionally to make sure things look okay.

You should still have highlights. If you use the same colors for skin, hair and glove, you should have fewer colors.

You need a neck for your character. Maybe make the eyes bigger/darker.
