Yes sorry 1024. This world of math confounds and challenges me in novel ways.

What does Amiga Interlace mode have to do with native c64 low resolution multicolor mode, Arne?

I dunno, at home I have a 24" widescreen monitor running at 1920x1600 and pretty much all well pixelled stuff reads perfectly fine, like the smilies and stuff.
There are no ugly colours, only ugly combinations of colours.

I rather like them, perhaps more that the ones in the actual smilie topic.
certainly wouldn't mind them being added into the profile options :) :y:

and me too on the image zoom thing, I almost always use it instead of Pixelation's script.. just feels more in control

A bigger screen with a lower resolution, so the pixels will be bigger for you.. it's not that strange.

Yes, I guess it evens out.

Also if Arne makes a full set equivalent to the smilies we already have, I would deffo consider putting it up as well since they are really good :)

And while we're discussing zoom tools.. I'm using Opera's built in zoom feature instead of pixelations zoom script because when you zoom big images with the script they tend to go off the edge making it difficult to navigate around since you get a scroll bar inside an iframe.

I never made the connection, or did I? I was just fumbling with the proper terminology for "horizontally long pixels".

I'm... not good at finishing stuff.

I did do a smiley set though, but it's deliberately very standard. Most forum smileys (at least back then) were/are very bad from a... color aesthetic perspective and I wanted to ... impose my own preferences there, meaning Orange in the shadow, not stinky HalfBrite Yellow. It's used on various forums now I think, so you might have seen them elsewhere.

Is the 20-years old 'widepixels' not an apt description?

Arne, your smilies just rock!!! They're fabulous! :-*
No offence meant to the contributors of the Smilie 2007 activity, but if it were for me, I'd use these ones ;) :P
