Ripped emoticons?

on: June 18, 2007, 09:20:03 am
I don't know if this forums emoticons are standard or if you guys made them. But this forum has the same ones only edited a bit.

Sorry if this is a false alarm.

they do look like opurs, and I thought ours were custom..but they were here before I joined, so I'm not sure...

I'm not going to pretend this is a small task either; certainly none of us here can claim to have accomplished it.  it's the realm of masters.  still, it's what we all have to try for.

Yeah, ours are custom; they were made in an activity similar to the one going on right now some time ago.  Someone asked if they could use them on their site, but I don't know if it was this site or not.  I'm sure someone will take care of official contacting and such shortly.

I recall that thread
http://www.wayofthepixel.net/pixelation/index.php?topic=4102.0
i wouldn't describe a pixel cars forum as 'not related to pixel art'
and that thread never even reached a conclusion.

Heh, now that I look at that thread, this is obviously not the forum that asked permission, since it is pixel-art related and not in Polish.
Zolthorg: I think general consensus of that thread was 'yeah, go for it' and nobody was against it.  Then again, the conclusion (or lack thereof) of the old thread isn't really the point here.
Anywho, I'm sure someone's on top of this by now.
