i just happen to like blue

just something that started small and ended big.

note the massive use of dithering on the pants and total lack of dithering on the jacket :p

cool.
I actually like the different rendering methods you used on the pants and jacket, it creates different texture and works well.
you made a step in the right direction on the head in the last one, but if you're trying to keep it anatomically correct, the face should probably be smaller.

This thing has style. I think there are a few issues with it that can be easily fixed. First off, I think the top of the head and forehead needs to be a little higher up, and you need to center the hair also. As for the leather jacket, try adding a minimal quantity of yellow to the lighter shading. I'm not too phased by your mix of dithering and smooth details, and I think the facial expression is great. While you did a great job articulating the fingers, I think that they seem small compared to the size of the head. Good job with this. Hope you can fine tune this. :)
