Heyhey,

Now, the texturing on this guys is looking great, top stuff.

It's just his shape that's bothering me a little, he's looking a little jagged, and overweight. From his neck, his chest just juts out, and it ain't lookin right.

I'm lovin the colours and the clouds are lookin pretty darn good too, just get that dragon on a diet ;)

Peace,
B

I like the colors you picked and the texturing you did for the scales.  The main thing that bothers my eyes is that the dragon looks flat. Here's a link to a  book that teaches how to draw with forms to give things a more solid and round appearance.

Don't let the sillyness or how old the book is throw you off. He's sharing some really powerful stuff but trying to make it accessible. :)

For some reason those colors remind me of stoven's colors on his dragon bahamut thing, but I havent look at his stuff for a long time though. I like the edit, much better. As people already said, he doesn't look very good linewise, but the shading is great.

Agreed. Try and see if you can find some of stoven's works. They are truly amazing. Especially his Bahamut Perched. I suggest studying it a bit, for it contains rather masterful pixelling.
