Doorknobs are usually much lower than that.  My only suggestion is too look at a bunch of doors.  Maybe go to a hardware store (or a hardware store website) and look through the different doors, then take what you like.

I like the suitcase, though the black shadow on the top looks out of place.

 :o It's not a suitcase. :P

But ya,I looked a doors but the one I coppied didn't have a door knob.

The two objects are a tool box and a shovel if any one wants to know.

Oops.   :-[  Maybe some extra shine would help that.  Instead of a T for the shovel handle, an enclosed D shape will be more recognizable.

The scale seems wrong.  The shovel should be bigger, and that toolbox is huge.  As for the shading on the tool box, I made a very sad attempt.  Dithering is not my forte.

I think that looks really neat man. Nice way to milk the 1-bit color scheme.

I think if you decide to only use 1bit styledither or at least different dithering techniques play a very important role. Since this piece isn't very small I dont see any reason why you shouldn't make experiments with that. only using standard 25, 50 and 75% percent dithering doesnt really make this an intresting picture and also doesn't help the readabilty of different materialls in your picture

.. Then draw something else?

You haven't even said what you want to put *in* the room.. "Objects" is pretty vague.

Also the perspective itself is messed up. It'd be hard drawing anything in correct perspective in that room regardless of how good you were.
