Spacey Kacey

on: April 22, 2007, 11:14:11 am
Yesterday I was traveling by train and while I waited in Stockholm for my train I took up my laptop and listened to some music and stuff. I got an urge to do some pixeling, so I decided to experiment a little. I started GraphicsGale and started doodling, with the touchpad. Heres the result.  :)

I gotta give you props for pixelling with the touch-pad--I can't do it for the life of me. :'(  It's remarkable the roundness you achieved.
It kind of grinds my gears the way its outlined almost 100 percent, except for the end of the gun and the wristbands on the legs and that arm.  I think consistency is next to godliness in art, but I guess it's just opinion.
The other thing that sorta bothers me is the lack of some highlights.  With just a few dabs of white on the visor and the gun, you could give this guy a lot more depth.
But all in all this is a solid laptop-train-ride piece of pixel work.  Great job. :y:
