Nice work=)

Legs was already pointed out, i just recommend not to show far hand behind his head - it wont be clear what blinking out there, hand move  is logically obvious. =) Also, if use a dummy in iso view - it help if you make a body iso rectangled, splited on waist line - it would help to figure out what the body would do.=)

Thanks, Fool. I agree on the hidden arm movement, i've removed it.
Regarding the rectangle iso dummy, do you mean something like this?

I've found it simple and comfortable to use two horizontal lines for the hips and shoulders, hadn't though of rectangles but i'll keep it in mind, it seems like a good method too. Thanks for the tips and nice words :)

Latest animation rework:

I've corrected the feet speedup. Actually, because of that apparently tiny 1-frame thing, i noticed a timing error and had to remake half of the frames (due to poor planning :P).

I'm fairly happy with how it looks at the moment. Now i'm gonna start on the front/right running anim, before i fill it out.
Critique still welcomed though :)

Now with more southeast running:

The disappearing right arm will be ocluded by the torso on the frames in which it disappears.

Next up, by tomorrow night: imma fillin' mah lines!

Cool!  But this very similar to quick march (sporting step), not to run, maybe it is not enough instep legs and more small up body in some frames? On left animatio is ok, but on right...

I see what you mean, hadn't noticed before, it does look like marching! I don't understand what you mean by "instep legs", but i'll give his body a greater "hop", more vertical movement, and maybe lift more the knees as they go for the next step. Nice tips, thanks!

Edit:
here we go:

And after a busy week, the filled out guy is here:

Still needs some tweaks, and next is shading.

Anything that bothers you with the anim, i'd like to know.

Haven't gotten around to finishing the run anim, have been sidetracked with other work and been working more on the game code and on the isometric tiles (isometric roof sucks). Also got a bit bored with shading but should finish it around this week, and start working on NPC's walk animations.

Started working on a title screen. Time constraints won't allow me to spend as much time as this needed, but i'll try to work as fast and good as possible.

Comments apreciated!
