Work in progress. By me.


The title's just there because I hate my imperfections.

I'm not done yet, but I don't know how to shade such thin limbs.
(But my first priority when I start shading should be adding contrast)

I like the direction that this is heading.. However, the 5th stance looks like it might be a little more comfortable than your end one. The final sprite looks like it might have some back pain or perhaps be half-way through doing the pelvic thrust.  Though the end poses might look a little more dynamic, They just don't look as natural and comfortable as some of the earlier foundation you had created.

Looking good though, can't wait to see more.

I agree with fry, the "bending" seems a bit unnatural. I would move the stomach at least one pixel to the right.
Otherwise theres not much to crit, since its not yet shaded

I agree with Novaroth, the blade looks dull the way you've got it colored.  Maybe a white or light color on the underside would help?  What is the green thing?  I thought they were extra arms at first.  Are they mechanical arms?  A sash?

The truths you seek are in the second of the two references I posted.

Edit: Well the green thing is in both. And honestly I don't know what it is.

Edit again: A giant belt? Also I don't think the scythe is sharp. The reference makes it look like it gives killer paper cuts.

So, why are you doing this?  Unless you've got a good reason, like the guy who drew these is paying you to make it exactly like his references, don't let them limit you.  Why not make the scythe sharp and make it obvious what the belt thing is?

It's just a gift for somone, actually. I'm not interpreting her character, but just translating it into pixel form.

Which has to be the dumbest way of putting that I could have said.
