Promosing W.I.P

on: March 22, 2007, 09:34:06 pm
I'm pretty darn proud of what I've done right now.
I had the whole body anatomicly sketched out but I acciedentlly oversaved it -.-. I wanted to show you if my porportions for my specific creature was and if it was correctly balanced but I guess you'll see that tommorow.  :hehe:

Okay, the creature here was inspired by Mia, I'll link the piece soon.
It going to be a Alien merchanary orginising a raid on some building which I've yet to create.
Better do that now.

I would like to know how I could refine the details in my piece and make it sucessful.
I would also like to know if I have improved in any way.

On a last note my colouring is heavily inspired by Alex Hanson-White. Enjoy!

How is this promising? You just have another sketch you've probably worked on for a totaly of five minutes.

You really shouldn't post anything until you've gotten pretty far with it, so we at least know you're serious about what you are working on.

At this moment in time you have some unnecessary shades, and contrast issues. You really ought to work on a tiny portion at a time instead of trying to fill a whole box like that.

That is all.
And I am finally seeing that you were the one worth eating.

You are doingh the same thing again and again. Strange-headed things with no bodies, big canvases with not much on it and what is on it lacks cohesion and thought.
What you have here is not really critable apart from saying, study the basics.

Please spend more than a few minutes before you post your efforts.

There are no ugly colours, only ugly combinations of colours.
