Can't be done in PS but why would you need a grid anyway?

Just like to have it every once in a while... helps line things up sometimes.

To draw lines, click on a posistion with the pencil tool, hold shift and click to another position.
It will draw a line from position 1 to 2.

Hmm... I knew about that, but I never thought of using it that way... Thanks!

If you need some lining up, the guides are nice.  Just turn on the rulers and pull these nice blue lines from them.  I've used them a lot for tile work.

hm. You mean photoshop hasn't any grid facility at all? I'm shocked. It seems pretty basic functionality.
In GIMP, it is easily doable by setting the grid spacing to 1x1 pixels.
If you insist on being pessimistic about your own abilities, consider also being pessimistic about the accuracy of that pessimistic judgement.

I just noticed photoshop has a grid.
enable it under:
View/ Show/ Grid
Then set the grid spacing at:
Edit/ Preferences/ Guides Grid & Slices
to 1 pixel and off you go.
I never really noticed that because I never use it.
Does scaling an image blur it?

I just noticed photoshop has a grid...

It.... kinda doesn't work very well. The spacing gets off for some reason.

Oh well, I don't absolutely need it anyway :P

Pretty much everything you described is in ProMotion. Get it - the best pixel program out there.

Hmmm... I've had the trial for awhile, but never really messed around with it too much... I'll give it another try. Thanks! :D

EDIT: Niiiiice... it's like the best of both worlds from what I can tell!

Know of any help pages or tutorials to get me started? It seems pretty basic, but I'm sure there's some stuff I don't know about

The manual is the best tutorial you can get.

I'd take a look at it if I had it... all I have is the demo right now.

I'd like to try it all out before I buy, I guess  :P

Help -> Contents? It was there when I tried the trial version.

It however isn't the "proper" manual you get when you purchase the full version. It should be enough to get you started though.
