... how long have you been pixeling? your improvement is very rapid. your fadatar is extremely well done.

thx Ryumaru, actually my first pixels were done for this project of video game (a kind of blackjack) that I was trying to make for DS..(then for PC..) around last month I think,

Then not so happy with the sprites I decided to practice a bit more ^^
so I came here..  :P
So I don't pixel since a long time hehe, but I ve been working in computer graphics (2D/3D) for a few years already  ;)

Oddly enough, I don't like it as much.  The earlier version looked smoggy, and like it was drizzling that day.  This one, the air is cleared up.  Not quite as interesting.

I disagree with Sharm... I think this one look more "bathing in the sunlight"....

to me it was a much more "pro" work than the other.... both are nice though...

Thx for comments both of you,

Sharm, I understand you feeling, The problem probably comes from the fact that I didn't really decide clearly what I wanted to do since the beginning..  I think you are right about the more interesting/original mood with the fog/smog.. I'll see what I'll do  :)

here is a new wip, for the challenge on pixeljoint..
C&C welcome..

we can use up to 32 colors.. the theme is a character lighten from below..

hey great start - i really look forward to you applying the same polish to this and the city piece as you did to your fadatar, they both have a LOT of potential!

Thx Adam, I hope I'll have time to apply the same polish too.. Actually that is my first time working on something this big, and I didn't think it would be that difficult!
I'm very slow and really don't know if I'll have time to finish it on time (I also wanted to do a little animation. but I already gave it up for the challenge ;) )

here is the update of the day...
"only" 22 colors now ; I don't think I'll go lower.

He is frighten us  ;D in dark street, apparently. I am run to toilet. Good and funny work!  :y:
On pix:
maybe more yellow light (like on tongue) on clothes and neck, on clothes exactly because he closer to light.
