First RPG-Style Sprite

(The eyes turned out transparent... I don't know why, as my transparent color is purple...)
It isn't for any specific game, but I thought it would be good to try this out.

I was going for a very relaxed look... Does it work?

I might need help shading the beanie. At the moment it looks a bit too... cyllindrical. Maybe I could try and dither it, and see how that looks. And I could have raised his hand-in-pocket a little bit, maybe. I also forot to shade the arms... Is it common to only only notice these things once I actually post them?

This is only my third piece, and it shows. So blast all that constructive critisism my way, I take it with open arms

You'll find you notice alot of small little areas you forgot to refine or that need updates/tweaking once you show it to other people or upload it and take a look at it.

For a 3rd sprite this is pretty good. He seems to be lacking a neck, though. the shirt shade could maybe use some more contrast, the arms seem too long, but you did a pretty nice job using the lightsource.
