I had a project due first thing this morning. 200 word story and 10 images in French. I hope that the quality of the images makes up for the lack of them (it is French class, not an art class, so these might be considered impressive) and the creativity of the story makes up for it only being 113 words or so. I started on Friday night, didn't do much on Saturday, wasted a lot of time Sunday and finished at 1am this [Monday] morning.
Here's the story for anyone that's curious or wants to know what the hell is going on in the story.
Il y était un garçon qui habitait en ville. Son meilleur ami était une banane. La banane s'appelait Kliff. Ils ont joué, ri, travaillé et porfois mangé ensemble. Souvent, Kliff était remplacé après on le mangeait.
There once was a boy who lived in the city. His best friend was a banana. The banana was named Kliff. They would play, laugh, work and sometimes eat together. Kliff was often replaced after eating.
Un jour le garçon et Kliff, la banane, ont combattu. À cause decela les amis sont devenus les ennemis. Le garçon est allé a la maison et a regardé la télé et mangé de la lasagne. Parce que la lasagne est trés bonne.
One day the boy and Kliff, the banana, fought. This caused the friends to become enemies. The boy went home and watched television and ate some lasagna. Because lasagna is really good.
Le garçon a vraiment aimé la lasagne.
The boy really liked lasagna.
<<Je vous aime vraiment, lasagne>> il a dit à la lasagne.
"I really like you, lasagna" he said to the lasagna.
Alors ils sont devenus les meilleur amis. Ils ont joué, ri, travaillé et porfois mangé ensemble.
So they became best friends. They played, laughed, worked and sometimes ate together.
