Self : dither-practice

Self portrait, wanted to do some practice with dithering.
Haven't decided if i want to add highlights to the hair or not.

why do you need to practice 50/50 dithering...?  you could at least try some other patterns =\

You're right, you're right. I've just never really delved into dithering before, so i figured it would be an adequate place to start. I'm used to spriting very small, so dithering doesn't come into play very often.

the dithering looks pretty good. needs some AA. I really like how you did the hair. i say skip the highlight. here's an edit on what you could do to further the piece





AA added, various things fixed...awkward mouth, chin outline choppy..i bumped up the red brightness which contrasts with the piece better

the neck was also lopsidedish
