I have huge problem with finding color palette for my pictures... For example-if I want to make monster I don't know how to choose color  palette for skin, shade, light spots and bottom lines is there any SOFTWARE that can make it for me or i there any RULE for this? Please help!

In this picture Krysis made green skin of this creature my problem is how to chose colors so that they'll match up (green skin, green shade, green light spots). sorry for english

if you want to know how to use colors, you have to learn a bit of color theory and how light works, that's the best way atleast in my opinion.
