2 Frame Animation

on: February 03, 2007, 11:57:10 am
This is my first atempt at animating. I am not saying this so you crit easily I am saying this just to let you know why I did not go for a more fluent varity.

If I would get some crits I would start shading.

You have both arms going forward at the same time which is wrong. I'd go for four frames rather than two.
Modern artists are told that they must create something totally original-or risk being called "derivative".They've been indoctrinated with the concept that bad=good. The effect is always the same: Meaningless primitivism

Are you serious?

Both of his arms are going forward.
When you walk do you sway each arm seperatly, or do you swing them forwards at the same time?

2 frames for a walk is not enough to communicate any kind of real motion - in this case, you're starting a little TOO small ;)  I would try 6 frames - 2 extremes and then 2 tweens for the forward and the back.  Study videos and yourself in the mirror and give it another shot!

Actually,I quite like it!It's cycle seems like an old game and watch movement..also the character seems to resemble Mr.Game and Watch himself..anyway,nice job! Can't wait to see the 4 frame version!

The best tool an animator has is his own body. Walk around the room and observe how your limbs all work together.
