run like a b*tch

i got bored and wanted to make a small (and stupid game) called "run like a bitch"

story line is still in lingo...  but the basic premise:  a man is caught in russia as a spy.  the russians decide that for punishment, he will have a small bomb implanted in his scrotum, if his heart rate drops, his love sack will explode...  still working on a better story, but it will be more unrealistic and f'ed up

bet here are a few of the sprites i have made

(that isnt the actual game back ground, fyi)

feels like there is something seriously wrong with the jump to me.

i think the colors could use some work too.  the guy is gonna stay that small (told you it was a small game) lol, but i think i will be going the 2x way on this, not quite sure yet. 

i am very open to any suggestions...

I think the problem with the jump is that it doesn't follow the motion of gravity correctly. I don't know the correct terminology for it, but right before his peak he should slow down for the last few frames of his ascension. The plummet should slowly build up to the speed you have him falling at as well. The ascension is a more gradual shift in speed, while the descension is slightly more accelerated.
