Finally, my first attempt at spriting.

Helm's edit definitely adds to the original.
Better palette, better palette management, and better lightsourcing.
I can't say I like his pose changes though, and the hair doesn't look too great either.

To be honest, although helm's edit changed so much of the sprite- It was all pretty necessary.

The original didn't fit well in space-so the change in the placement of the feet and the legs was necessary. Colour management needed work-helm changed it. I especially like the work Mr. Helm did with the shirt and the pants- so all in a ll i think the original artist could benefit greatly from some study of Helm's edit.

im getting confused, isn't the image K0re posted, an edit (by K0re) of a previous version by shin?

Shin initally posted that image, which I assumed to be remake of watever he sent K0re.. Though it's been Jpegified, shouldn't you all be criting that? and not K0re's edit.. I mean, its a completely different size.

Or am I just getting it all wrong?

Yes and know. I drew two versions of the same character. The one Kore posted was my first attempt, and the one I posted was my second more detailed draft. If you look closely at both, you can see the difference of shape between the two.

nope. me and shin are friends
shin made the picture he sent to me because i pixelized another picture he made a while back(sketch posted here too)
so he sent me it i didnt do anything to it untill i saw that he made another version and coloured/posted here so i made mine and posted too.
