Nice
that looks really good.
The overall design of it is really creative and original, which is always nice to see.

Cant say im a fan though of the pitch black for the shadows.
The blue in the shirt is too harsh a contrast for the rest of the shirt - doesnt seem to fit in and flow with the rest of the colour scheme for the shirt.
The arm doesnt seem to hold as much depth as the neck (other fleshy area of the image).
The guitar would probably be my biggest bit with it though. It just seems to plain and block coloured compared to the rest of the image. Just doesnt seem to fit in with style.
Id also suggest moving the pupil on the eye on the left more forward instead of directly centred.
That way it have him looking more forward which seems to be what he is trying to do.

Really great design.
As you can see, my crits are all nit-picky stuff.
What impresses me the most with this image is how well you manage to blend all the different colours together. the way you make the oranges greens blues purples all be able to work with each other is the most inspiring.
I think ill take a closer look at this later to look at the way you managed that.

Great work both of you.
interesting process in the way you arrived to the final image.

I agree with this crit entirely.

About the flatness of parts, please take into account that we worked on this in our separate times and didn't try to 'blend' our styles at all. So it's not that David's parts are underdetailed or that mine are overdetailed. It's just that they are separate. I don't see how my parts having more detail would call for David to follow suit at all.

The lack of consistency and clash of styles is fine. But there should still be a uniform contrast throughout the image.

The pants especially are too light compared to the upper-body.
And I am finally seeing that you were the one worth eating.

I don't really agree with that. I think that IS the clash of styles. The upper body looks totally Helm like, and the pants look totally.. I don't know.. SNK-like. And I kinda like it. It really shows that different people worked on this and made a wicked result together.

The guitar, looks like it has a "style" of its own... it doesnt mix at all, to my taste at least, besides from what i read...the head was colored by Helm, and the body by David, and to me, upper body tries to resemble Helmīs colouring.

The folds on the pants look good, however, they seem kinda like the generic folds you see every day. I would have tried mixing the folds in the pants up a bit, for starters, seeing as how the spiral folds(that many use when no actual reference is used, from what I've noticed...) seem to be the same on both legs. I wish I could make more sense of what I'm saying, but at this rate, I'd be writing a book over something so small. Also, I'd suggest thickening the legs a wee bit, as they seem a bit teeny. Also, his arms seem kinda' sloppy, almost a completely different style of shading than the shirt or head. Gives it an incomplete look, especially the fingers
The eyes also seem kinda flat. I would suggest bugging them out a bit, much like the eyes of a chameleon, to give it a more lizard type look. I also agree with the bent horn.
And again, why is there no red lighting on the pants, but it is present on the shirt and arms? Does any one else see this as a little bit strange?
my back hurts...

...because it's a collab which was worked seperately, not trading info or editing each other's wips.

No, body was done by me.

I drew the head and then he drew the body. Then I colored the body and he colored the head.

Regardless of who did what, i still think the hands have issues, and the guitar looks unfinished, and again, restating, i think its a good collab.
