Hello!
I've made this guy just for kicks today, and am posting it for some C+C...
It's nothing special, based on a quick sketch, and I tried out some shading and dithering, along with a limited palette... A total of 10 colors, a number which came out sporadically.
Left to right: outlined version with transparency; without transparency; and with palette.
I know, the eyes (especially the top one) could use some more depth (as would the whole character) and some more contrast, plus self-shadowing would be cool...
Unfortunately, I don't have much time ATM so this was made in some hurry just to try some things out.
I hope you don't find it too pillow-shaded
