Well the thing that REALLY stands out for me is her skin. Everything has such beautiful color choices then her skin looks flat.
I did a small edit to show what I mean

See how it looks more incorporated I guess would be the best word.

My other suggestion is the chunk of skin that is to our left that looks like her arm/stomach, can you try to define what it actually is a little more?

I have more suggestions for the face but I will let you decide if you want to hear them ><

Usually isn't there a talon/hand thing right around where the wing bends? To me, right now it looks a little cut off kind of.
Very good, though  :)

I would give her some shoulders, and maybe work on the area where the wings connect with her body to make it a smoother transition. Right now it looks like she was supposed to have arms but they haven't been added yet.

Thanks for the replies.

@CrematedPumpkin: From what I've seen birds don't have that talon thing on their wings.
Bats have those.

@cryssy: You're right.
I've actually made her skin all shiny and stuff in the beginning but it didn't look good to me so I've ditched it and went for the opposite.
Looking back at it I see that this wasn't the best decission.

@Ben2theEdge: Actually I was thinking that the arm would be completely covered by feathers making it look kind of 'cut off' but I guess a bit more smoothness in that area won't hurt.

I've changed the skin colors, added part of an arm that dissolves into the wing and slightly altered her pose.

What do you think?

I think it now looks brilliant, and there's nothing that I could suggest for you to make it better !

After you skin edit she stay more better, but not enough.

Me simpler paint, than talk
I am talk about....  his foot (more strong and clawhand), and his bust more womanly and correctly, about wings - more detail and small feathers in center wing (I'm paint not enough for this, but you can better!), also torso, on you image he is twisted too much. And i glad will see this work in finish....
I hope i relieve you.

Her left talon really jumps out more than her right, which is causing weird perspective issues (at least to me).
Try using your shading to differentiate depth across the whole sprite, and not just each individual segment.
Otherwise mangust's edit is pretty much spot on with the direction you should be taking this.

The one on the right is better in the newest post. I really hope you keep texturing the feathers.
