What is it? Some info about it would be nice.
There are no ugly colours, only ugly combinations of colours.

Well, its a bit of an experimental thing I guess. The left half is supposed to be a stylized ribcage (I know its not anatomically correct.) The nose is also the sternum. I was trying my hand at hue shifting and thought that I should make something of indeterminate color. I tried using a neutral grey as the middle hue (inspired by that knight edit that was posted a few days ago.) Anyways, I can see several things that need to be addressed on the rib side (untilt it a bit and move up the spare ribs.) Maybe I should just change it into a face... Ok, fast edit:

I think I'll ditch the artsy fartsy look and go that way... I'll refine it later.

Well, I didn't really do much of anything with it, but I'm going to go ahead and call this WIP no longer a WIP... except that its titled WIP... I think... uh... ok here it is:

I also tried adding some more shaded area, but I didn't like the over rounded, shorter look it conveyed.

For some reason I just like the flat look better here, so I gave up early on the second style. Anyways, the purpose of the project was to train my hue shifting skills and do sort of a chi garden thing with the lines in the face/ribcage. I guess I got what I wanted from it, so I'll call this one done like dinner.

Usually when I hueshift, I take it a bit to the extreme, as it seems like you did, but for the darkest shade, I think you could have gone a little farther, and on the green shade, you had it so unsaturated that it didn't even seem worth while to hueshift it at all.  Also, I added some highlights here and there.

Overall though, I think you did a good job.  Congrats for skill building  ;)

Greyness isn't all bad.
In fact it makes for a perfect transition color. Especially between warm and cool colors. I actually prefer PFH's better than your edit, Rydin. Your blue is much too saturated, and the greener midshade makes it a much rougher transition.

Although I do think the original could be a bit more saturated, not that much.
