Haha, I remember seeing those games in a store as a kid and being upset that I didn't have the system to play them on.

I agree with The B.O.B.  I was introduced to it recently, and it is quite awesome.  Though being the nerd I am I naturally want to know how the algorithm works, but eh.

I'm not sure there even are algorithms, i think when they set it up, they had a few beta testers who just grouped similar bands and whatnot, and then when they released it, if enough people who listen to band A, also listen to band B, then it groups them together, if they are in similar genres.

I'm pretty sure the bands and songs on Pandora are all categorized by rhythm patterns, vocal types, harmonies, and other categories.  Then it tries to find songs that have similar categorizations to what you ask for and different categorizations from what you tell it you don't want.  It might have a bit to do with feedback from other users, but I think most of the music choosing is based on previously-decided categorization.  Though even if it does work exactly the way you said, that's still an algorithm

No.  He's right.  It would be a shame for this board to become obsessively littered with images of bruce lee.  Personally, i don't really like him in the header, but meh.
