Nurse

on: September 28, 2005, 07:00:08 am
Hello there!
I was on pixelation for a long time, though I visited often, I posted rarely
as I'm usually busy with several projects at once and can't always post my work  :'(
I hope to be more active though (I know I always say that, please don't stab me :D )

This is a nurse I did  this evening.

Critiques are always appreciated and I will try to incorporate any help into the
piece if possible.

Thanks!

Hi!
I edited your nurse, I hope that is alright..

What I did was mostly edit the lines and a bit of the shadeing, I also added some contrast to her tones to make the difference between them more clearer so that their effectiveness is better.
Perhaps take a look at what i did, hopefully it can help in some way :)

I like the character, looks very cute and fun.
Look forward to seeing more of your work..

Thank you,
I like what you've done with the lines.
I'll try to incorporate that when I get a minute here and
repost it.

I hope to post more soon, I have a ton of sketches to turn into line art
and color so you'll probably see more from me soon :D

Were... you the person who posted in orange text?  And made autumn and winter avatars?

My monitor agrees most with Alex's edit.  But I'm using a laptop so that really doesn't mean much anything.  I like the colors, either way, though, and the colored outline helps give it depth.  Style crit:  I think it looks overly cute, though, like the head belongs on a young child.  By the time she's old enough to be a nurse, she should have a chin of some sort.

Nope, t'was not me. I was the one that was studying "korean" style.

(To those who wonder what I mean by "korean style" I just call it that because I first learned
it from games made by koreans. Think Talesweaver, RO, Neosaver, etc the "style" is also found in
some animes, as well as games like disgaea, makai kingdom etc which are not korean games.)
