Cute! ^_^

There isn't much that I can see that needs to be improved on. My only suggestions would be for the outlines of of the animated creatures and ninja to make them like the way you did with your monkey instead of black. And also aply a little AA to the lines on the inside.

the only thing missing is hue-shifts, which is moving your shadows towards purple, and the highlights to yellow. This is only a general idea that gives pleasant results. For really interesting hue-shifts, seek out the member who goes by the name Helm on this board. Click his name and view his latest posts and you're guaranteed to find some interesting hue-shifted edits. You cna also check out his pixeljoint gallery

Getting back to this, even incorporating a tiny hue-shift(which you probably will wnat to do with such few colours) would make these 10x more appealing.
