Mole [WIP]

people of pixelation i need your help.  it has been way to long since i have pixeled and shows. this is a mole i am working on for a game, i have here the process of how i have been working / mole with possible tiles for the game.

Heh, i almost posted "You've made that penguin look more like a mole :huh:"
I like the second in line the best, it is the strongest of the 4 and is well shadowed.

hello thar.

But all jokes aside, i think the colour scheme on the little critter could use some hue. They grey might be accurate, but if you want to make a visually appealing character that your players won't get bored with, i'd suggest giving him some more colour. I also like the second one best as well. He's the most contrasted, and the least pillow-y.

oh hey i should have mentioned the 2nd one was pixeled then photoshopped over so the 2nd one isn't really pixel art. sorry my bad.

The second one looks the best but i guess it would take a long time to animate.
Modern artists are told that they must create something totally original-or risk being called "derivative".They've been indoctrinated with the concept that bad=good.The effect is always the same: Meaningless primitivism

well after long debate we decided not to pixel the mole though he is photoshopped off of a pixel base.
so i know it isn't pixel related but here he is as temp. sprites til we decide just how we want him.

Nice outlines. Can we see the run cycle as an animated gif?
