My first run cycle, tips and critique welcome

on: December 17, 2018, 08:58:50 pm
Hi everyone,
This is my first post here (I hope it all works okay!?).
It's my first attempt at a run cycle (12 frames, human male. Made in GraphicsGale).

It's probably best viewed at 200% or 300%.
I've been looking at it for so long now, I think I've gone blind to any mistakes!
Tips and critiques welcome.

Thanks! :-)

Thanks @MysteryMeat!

Ok, I've had a go at 'fleshing' this one out a bit (so to speak).
Flesh-tones, an attempt at lighting (from above and in front), neatened up the silhouette a bit.

Not 100% sure about it. Any tips or critique would be useful.

My next step would be some clothes and hair, etc.

Any thoughts of who this run-cycle would suit, let me know.
I may go for an 80 style barbarian, but I'm tempted by an archer/ranger too.
