My resolution would be to finish the game I'm working on for quite some time before 2007 ends and then get a life :P

:watev: depressed on new years? c'mon. it's barely even a holiday. Most people only celebrate it because they get to laugh at an overly-speculated sexual innuendo when the 'ball drops'.

Last year i fell asleep before midnight, pity. -shrug-

Best wishes for everyone, happy new year 2007 for those celebrating it today!

As for resolutions:

- Begin my masters degree program and strive to do the best
- Get to learn 3D (finally)
- Finish at least one of my many game dev projects
- (MAYBE) research more about and/or start my own game studio/workshop/company/whatchamacallit
- Get in shape
- Be more friendly
- Be more organized

That's it. Not too difficult, just need to keep reminding me of those and I'll be fine

Good luck everyone! Happy new year once again.

I just need to finish my portfolio, so that i can apply to an artschool for fall 08.  And by finish I mean start, but it's hard to get motivated knowing I'll be a bum next year... But hey, community college is still better than doing nothing so, I'm all for it.  ish.
I thinkfocusing on the bright side should be at the top of my list though

I resolve to care less academically and care more creatively.

In priority threes:

I must put considerable effort into finalizing game projects that are hanging (relatively easy, I trust myself to do so).
I must do more comic work (not as easy as I don`t get paid for it anymore).
I must put out an EP with a friend and do that one (hopefully) live show for it (quite dependably occuring in the future).

Perhaps hone my atrophying CG skill, and\or find a way to overcome that it is unbearably boring to paint with digital media.
Perhaps a little fundamental 3d, if only to help with difficult perspective shots in comics.
Perhaps push the pixel art skills a bit more, though I don`t have it a priority.

If at all possible, compose more music at a stready pace.
If at all possible, travel about a bit with good company.
If at all possible publish my collected works comic book.

Avoid most, but not all "empty days", that is, days in which when you look back to you decree that nothing of consequence was accomplished.
Avoid prolonged contact with idiots. Nothing good comes of it, I trust this empyrical observation to be as epistemologically close to fact as possible.
Avoid situations in which tempers may flare, consciously seek a way to diffuse the situation even if it doesn`t mean that it is corrected until a later date.

Happy 2007

Uhm, my resolutions (without any particular order) are:

- To be more healthy (eat healthier and move more).
- To be more organized with time and do something efficient every day.
- To learn a tad of 3d and, expand and refine any other artistic skills.
- To Draw/Sketch/Paint/Pixel more.
- To finish my site.
- To work on this idea I've had for a few weeks.
- To visit my parents and some relatives (since I haven't seen them in 3 years - and that meaning going to Japan)

I guess more will come up sooner or later, but right now those.

These are 2 very good points.

My resolution is to get above 90% in all of my exams this year.  I just need that edge of motivation to work harder.
