Isn't that snakes's from the christmas thingey. Awesome piece.
Modern artists are told that they must create something totally original-or risk being called "derivative".They've been indoctrinated with the concept that bad=good. The effect is always the same: Meaningless primitivism

Yes, that's snake's piece for this year's secret santa. I'll let this thread roll for a while so he may bask in the collected adoration he so deserves, but then it goes.

That's so amazing.

@snake: I was wondering, do you have any progress shots of that? They'd be really usefull...

do we post pieces that we do not know the artist - and see if others recognise it?

Hehe. Nice pun.  :)

Very amazing artwork there! At first I thought it was a regular painting. But upon closer inspection I see that I was greatly mistaken.
Truly amazing!  :)

Thanks for the compliments guys. I just hope all this praise isn't shunning the rest of the submissions.

I have to ask, how did this topic get started? You found this somewhere else? I'm curious.

@snake: I was wondering, do you have any progress shots of that? They'd be really usefull...

I've taken extensive backups of the entire process, so that shouldn't be a problem. Just need to find a gif animator to piece it together with and I can post it here. If there's any interest for it of course. Maybe in a more appropriate topic?

I practiced. PJ will come later. ;)
