At Anatomy Specialist

When Pixeling a human, does the proportions and size come naturally, or is it carefully planned and studied?

I like to think I simpilise it in my head, people have their own methods of sketching a rough proportionate character, the only way to learn is to do. make mistakes, discover how you're going wrong and how to improve. How advanced you want to go with the anatomy is up to you as long as it is in proportion I guess.. Looking at your latest pixel I got the impression you wanted something a bit more abstract, exagerated features, large arms etc..

Seeing as we are humans.. there's a slight inateness to the human body - also through hours of observation :p
But for accuracy, detailed observation is really required.

After a long time of studying it should start to come more easily i guess, i think proportions would be one of the first things that is embedded into your mind, as it's fairly simple compared to the complexities of muscle structure etc. But checking back on references is always good.

Does anyone have a link to a good reference picture, that was taken/made to show anatomy?

Thanks alot Terley.
I seem to be getting better at this. Only slightly though. The PECKS are really easy to do.
Thanks all.
