A dragon of water, I made

on: December 20, 2006, 02:29:11 pm
This is my first image that I have placed on this site.
I'd like to hear some criticism about it.

I once tried to use it in my gamemaker-based game, but it was too small for it.

Looks cool, you got any animations? Also, that background is killing me so i can't really crit anything now.

So true about the background.

I really like the design, and the stages seems very nice so far.

The colour of the background is the one, I use everytime when I draw something animated, but you are right
about it and you are not the first ones who have mentioned about it.

I decided to change the background to green.

I think it's really much better now.

Ah, no problem. I do it all the time, if I intend to involve some form of transparecy. Much easier on the eyes now.

My first crit is that the design is too similar (dare I say based off of) Leviathan from Final Fantasy. :-[

In fact, I'm not sure either whether it is based on that image,
because it has been many years from when I made this. :mean:

I don't believe that this picture copied straight from final fantasy, but I may have used
that picture as a model.

Looks pretty good. Why was it too small for a game though?
Modern artists are told that they must create something totally original-or risk being called "derivative".They've been indoctrinated with the concept that bad=good. The effect is always the same: Meaningless primitivism
