Hi guys, welcome. Pour yourselves a drink (beer, coke, whisky, water), pixel some and get postin'!

Welcome :)

Hey.

I've been drawing sprites since ACS on the Commodore 64.

I'm mostly a Photoshop/Tablet artist now, but I thought I'd get back into pixel work as I've always loved 2D gaming.

Hello all, not new to pixels here, but rusty as hell (and frankly when I wasn't rusty I wasn't ever quite good, but anyway)... just got to missing it the other day so thought I'd try getting back on the horse.

yes, indeed, welcome.
HOWEVER, I must state my dissatisfaction with one aspect of your avatar. The bottom of the carton's lid is pillow shaded! :'(

I think it kind of works in that context... it's just one pixel thick.

Hey yall,

I'm Ixis... Or, you can call me Kevin.

I'm not new to pixel art, but I'm not all that skilled yet. I recently graduated from art school and I do freelance illustration and web journalism for game magazines/strategy guides/etc.

I've kind of been lurking around here every now and then for a couple of years, and I've finally bitten the bullet and signed up for an account.

Well I've actually  been on here a while, but I guess I should introduce myself.

Well I'm Brian, I basically started pixelling back in Paint on Windows 3.1, sometime in the early nineties. I really enjoyed making pictures mainly using dithering, although I didn't call it that back then. I just called it "cool patterns" (or something to that effect). Later on I attempted to make graphics similar to commander keen. Sometime in the late nineties or early 2000s I started actually calling it pixel art, at which point I started making sprites for games in an attempt to get my brother to code a game for me, although I never got enough for one game for him to do it.

Anyways, that's how it goes.

I didn't see this topic until a few days after i joined, so

Hi, names matthew, my teachers in grade 1 called me matt, with that nickname my brother (13 at that time) made me a username as mattpk, and i have stuck with it. I have used another acc name as Edwining sometimes. That username started when i played the horribly rendered graphics dump runescape game. I have had almost a month of experience spriting, and you may think i haven't gone far for a month of work, by looking at my topics, check out my dob. :(
