Hey! I just signed up for the forum... one minute ago  :P

My name is Nathan, i'm 15, soon to be 16, I just started pixel art. I enjoy playing older video games, such as Fallout and the Secret of Mana series. I was hoping someone could help me really get into pixel art (I really suck at it, but i'm interested).

So.... HI!

Hi, my name is Stephen and I just came over here from the TIGS forums. I heard good things about the community here and thought that I would join so as to start learning the ins and outs of pixel art creation. As of now I am an aspiring programmer and pixel artist. I hope someday to make a game from the ground up using my own code and pixel art. I've tinkered around with various development tools and am starting to get a feel for how things are put together when it comes to game development. I hope to contribute as much as I can  and hopefully get a little help on the way  ;)

hi

i lurk this place a bit and have learned a lot just from reading stuff here. i like the general attitude this community gives.
i love pixel art but honestly i do not like making pixel art! it feels extremely tedious and totally unorthodox for me and i don't really enjoy it at all. the only time i work with it is when i create game mockups and the like.

Late to say this, but Corel, do you have a tablet? Mucho useful for all digital art, but since I've got one my approach to pixel art has changed from one of methodical steps to a much looser and more enjoyable experience. :y:

I use my wacom intuos3 for everything that allows for using a tablet. My mouse is getting really dusty from nonuse.

Hey, I'm Jack.  I lurk around here ALOT.  But I'm really active on PJ.
I'm probably the one of the smallest freshman to date.  5'1'' and 70 lbs.
I'm 14, and started to pixel in this past June.
I live in Wisconsin, bout an hour from Chicago.

I've been labeled as "the most boring person I've met".  Lalws.
