Well, I didn't have the beard when I made the avatar, but I should probably fix that.  Actually, I should do any art at all, now that you mention it :-\  School and laziness have kept me away from doing anything art-related other than music for some time now.

Always remember: a preposition is not something you should end a sentence with.

Trust me, you have heard Pete Townshend, it's just that you don't know who he is.

Robalan: You look like an executive type. It's the suit, mainly. Funny how "poor college kid living on Top Ramen" goes to "executive" with a suit.

I think you shouldn't use flesh tones on the eyeball as a method to AA the contours of the eyelids. It doesn't work.

it was intended more as blood vessels or reflected light...clearly it has failed!  my ramp for the eye color is bland and boring anyways...

A clear case of minute detail that you'd do zoomed in with an opacity brush very finely, if it were a CG piece, but in pixel art the single pixel is too huge and opaque to convey the semiotic information you're going for.

Hello!
My name is Zenobia... often shortened to just Zen ^_^

I've been pixeling for... 4 years maybe? But up till last year nothing serious. I am trying more isometric things and pixels that could actually be used in games now.
As you can see at my deviantART I've been dolling a lot. http://queenzenobia.deviantart.com
I found that I could express more of my imagination into those... Because I am definitely a fantasy artist... not realism, not anatomy.
But I'll learn! I never thought I could make my hobby into a job, but it seems it is indeed possible.
My actual pixel art portfolio isn't online yet. http://www.zententia.net

I'm... 16 and I live in the Netherlands.
Extremely enthusiastic, optimistic, creative and ambitious.
This is me: click

This place looks like it will teach me a lot.
