Hi! I'm new here and I've been fooling around with pixels since I had a DP2 on Amiga 500. Location: Helsinki, Finland.

I work in a mobile game company, occasionally working as a freelance illustrator/consept designer/storyboard artist for movies and TV commercials.

If I accidentally happen to have some free time, I spend that by drawing web comics: The Broken Mirror, Between two Worlds, Desert Rocks, or doodle and post stuff on my Da page.

Hey everyone.
My names Alex, im an 18 year old russian from new york. Ive been playing around with pixel art for quite a while now, and im pretty well known in the microhero circles, but thats pretty amateur compared to the stuff here.
a few questions-
do we make a new thread for every piece we do, or make a gallery thread were we post all our work?
also, ive been using paint to draw micros, and photoshop and inageready to animate or add effects once in a while, but ive noticed people here dont use photoshop. what programs do you guys use, and what benefits do they have over photoshop?

Thanks

Hello, Sever.
Generally, most pictures get their own thread, but a lot of us have 'dumps' where we just dump everything that we don't think is worthy of it's own thread.
Oh yes naked women are beautiful
But I like shrimps more haha ;)
