critique on a bee girl

yello, since this is my 1st post, ive decided to ask critique on one of my more recent works. my biggest problem with the sprite is the arms, which is something i usually struggle with.

The wing would benefit from a redraw - I see some misplaced pixels there.
I like the use of blue as a shade of black, it works well.
If the bee is supposed to be flying, the bottom of the bee looks a bit weird, like she's standing on invisible ground.
Half a noob figuring out stuff.

Shading is flat, not interesting design.
Messed with it, pulled out some recurring stuff and invented others, shaded to front light source



Some of Arne's really old tutorial probably slipped into this. Worth the read, could make it more interesting.
