Hi Rydin, thank you! My character's name is Famir and he's an half elf Warlock. He's the remake (a reboot to be honest) of the old character I created when I was a little teenager.
And yep, you are completely right, the second pictures shows exactly the pose in which I draw him and with the same kind of cloak. But that's exactly why I think that it's hard to draw something like that, because I don't know how I should recreate those folds and everything else! So these days I tried to rework on it, in some ways, and here it's the result:

I'm sure there's a lot of mistakes, not being consinstent in art brings to this (there's always 6 months or so between my "drawings".. And I started 2 years ago), but I kinda like it.

You should pixel out his character sheet  :P

This new version has a very consistent light source.

My biggest complaint is Famir's ear seems to be sticking way out.
Man cannot remake himself without suffering for he is both the marble and the sculptor.

That's a nice idea, I could try it, just for fun.
You are probably right, I wanted to let the others notice the pointy ears so he didn't like like a normal human.. But maybe is a detail too small to put it in the sprite.

I think the ear would be fine if it wasn't so bright. It should be in shadow, since the rest of the head would block most of the torch-light.
