That quote should be put on the 10 commandments. It's just a complete and utter fact.

Happy slaves. It's like S&M. The submissive partner is the one who is actually in control.

Hahaha. I love this thread.

I was walking home and this cute white-fur cat plumpss itself down into the snow a couple feet in front of me. I stare at the thing for a little while and as I'm about to wlak past it jumps in the air and runs across in front of me. I keep walking and after a couple secs it starts to charge at me, its little bell ringing, and I fear that this thing is going to leap at me and rip out my eyeballs.

Kitty so CUUTE!! :D :D

You know, cats are incredibly low-maintenance, and they don't need a ton of room. And they'll lengthen your lifespan.
I'm aware of that, but it's not practical to have one when you live on the fourth floor of an apartment complex and spend seven hours a day at school. And again, I'm allergic... Why am I allergic?!

Well, I mean - I'm at work for at least 8 hours a day, I live on the second story of an apartment complex, my cats are indoor cats, and they're happy and healthy. They wake me up in the morning, cuddle with me when I get home at night. I feed them before I go to work and again when I get back. So as far as your schedule goes, you're fine - you could even use the "gone all day" thing as an excuse to get two.  :y: ;D

As far as allergies are concerned, everybody's different.. I'm allergic to cats, too, but as long as I vacuum and wash my bedsheets every now and then, I'm fine. And if my allergies do start to act up, Benedryl does the trick.

que faire quand on a tout fait, tout lu, tout bu, tout mangé
tout donné en vrac et en détail
quand on a crié sur tous les toîts pleuré et ris dans les villes et en campagne

Yeah, I know cats are good at taking care of themselves. I've been around them for some time, after all.

The allergy thing ticks me off, though. When I was little, my grandma had a cat that I used to be with all the time. And also a dog. Then the dog died, and we got a new dog (our dog instead of grandma's this time). Then the cat died. Then we moved away and left the dog with grandma. Around three or four years later, we get to look after a kitten while its owners go on vacation, and a friend of mine gets a dog. Suddenly they both make me all itchy and sneezy just from being around them. I would get a mild rash of some sort on my arms just from petting my friend's dog.

I jjust don't get why.

... and recently I've developed some bizarre fur allergy.

Seeing as in others view you technically are your avatar, I found this to be pretty funny  :P

since we're still on the subject of cats and dogs, and I'd expect it will be for some time, behold a cat tripping on LSD:

wonder what the cats seeing...

if that isn't a segue for drug discussion- I don't know what is :P
